So my window seal is coming off.

My back rear window's seal thingy is coming off. Anyone know how to put this back in? I tried to stuff it back in there but that doesnt work too well :rofl:

 

Not completely sure, but those screws look like they can be loosened and the seal edge put in between. Otherwise, use adhesive. Advance or someone would probably have the stuff or would know what you needed.

 

i had the exact same thing happen to me...i just kinda shoved it back in there, doesn't seem to want to go all the way though.

 

i think thats a common problem... happened to my WRX too

 

Think SoG or anywhere can fix that? Cause with the door closed i can see the the metal behind the seal. And im afraid rain will leak in or something haha.

 

I had that happen on my car as well... it clips in if you push it hard enough hehe

 

If you have an 06 that's under warranty,
you could just have the dealer fix it.

 

I really don't think you should use any adhesive on it.

If you look between the rubber, you will actually see the clips where it suppose to click in IIRC. It's been a long time hehe

or you can take it to the dealer... under warranty which is what I did... lol
the Tech showed me the clips and cliped it back in... only took him 2 seconds

 

on the 04 there's a little lip in the metal on the door that it tucks into. It's kindof a pain, but once you get it back in it stays just fine

 

if you haven't gotten it fix, swing by sog and i'll take a look at it. more that likely i'll be able to fix it unless it's torn or something.
