Are you still using Prodrive? How are you tuning with the lock on the ECU?

prodrive credited me with an EcuTek license ;)
ought to be interesting what scott can pull out of the prodrive setup over the prodrive chip

Very interesting indeed...problems with Stage 3?

I am dealing with a problem with Stage 2...unfortunately work has been taxing my free time, so I haven't been able to pursue it further.

i think i may have some wastegate issues. not pushing enough psi in gears 1-3. i wanted to build the car too, so i'd need the ecutek eventually.

prodrive is offering a ectutek service to those who have prodrive chips... ask them, nicely. they should be pretty receptive. it took me a few months but pleasant persistence got it done ;)

it was a long day on friday, but it was definitely worth it. scott managed to pull considerably more (whp/wtq) out of the prodrive setup over the prodrive tune.

i am truly impressed with his patience, dedication, and professionalism. scott spent a LOT of time trying to pull the numbers he wanted out of the setup. he didn't get quite what he was looking for, but i think he did one hell of a job considering the ambient temperature in the shop. hopefully he will post the before and after screen shots of the tunes. prodrive would do well to simply include an ecutek license (maybe with a base map) with all their power packages and leave the tuning to masters like scott.

i feel fortunate to have someone with so much talent available to me.

also, a big thanks to those who showed up for lunch and dropped by the shop. it was good seeing you all... and thank you john for giving me yet ANOTHER toy to burn money on by bringing that damned STi RC car ;)
