I needed 30k service. ....14k ago. So yeah, I was late, but I hadn't been thrashing it too hard and I kept the oil changed til I could afford the expense. On a lark last week I went online looking for coupons from the dealerships in metro area and saw SOG with a 399.00 special. this wa about 80$ cheaper than any other time i could remember, so I figured I better get my service in soon. But like any of you guys, I like to save a buck, so I called around to see what the others offered. At one point I was quoted $520 and when asked about specials they said there were none. Another place quote $470, and only when I specifically asked for the special did they mention some $60 off coupon. called SOG and made my appointment for friday. Said it would be 3 hours. Bob was done in 2.5 (but I stayed to goof off a bit with SS, and ran into Married.) Good service and non-jerky techs.
i have one complaint.... I had a blowout this morning at 2am the lugs were too tight. Even after someone stopped to help, it took both of us to break it free...
you know if the tread is too different, you have to get 4 new tires for AWD, right? well, just barely in that window is where i'm at...
I should be getting the remaining 3 Kumho's very soon. Does it really make that much difference?. I have 11,000 miles on the RE 92's. Mark
ur differentials won't be too happy especially if u push the car with tires having uneven traction ... if u must wait a while before u buy all equivalent tires, i'd recommend u dont push the car much... so no autocross/mountain runs/etc.
