holy crap, na 2.0l at 200hp! Also a 3.7l? Kind of an odd size, but also incredibly awesome!

    450hp!:eek4:

I imagine it'll be rather pricey, seeing as the impreza sti is around 40k now.

Oh well, eff it...it'll be worth it!

Seems an odd size, but look at it interms of liters per cylinder:

    for 2.0 its 0.5 l/cyl
    for 2.5 its 0.625
for 3.0 its 0.5 (same cylinder size as 2.0)
    for 3.7 its 0.62

Keep in mind that our 2.5 L is really 2.493 (I think) and very likely the 3.7 is a rounded number as well.

So its possible that subaru really only has two cylinder bore dimensions and 3.7L is the size you would get by adding two cylinders to the 2.5 block.

I have NO idea if this is really what Subaru is thinking, but it kinda makes sense

And yes, this would be an awesome car!

you are forgetting the 3.6l that makes up the new flat 6 in the Tribeca, which is what I would have expected them to turbocharge. Thus why I am slightly surprised at the .1L increase. Although when thinking about it, thats roughly a 200hp gain from turbos! Me thinks that number might be a tad optimistic.
