So the new ANSA catback and helix DP are a bit loud, i set off two car alarms on the same street cruising by at about 2000 rpms. Thinking about sound deadening for the trunk well and backseat. It doesn't drone but it's got an incredibly loud bass note. Any recommendations for a brand? I have a heat gun and a basic idea of how to do it.

You can get Dynamat or Raamat which are both pretty pricey.

I know there's some kind of spray insulation you can get at Home Depot (I think it's called Brown Bread or something along those lines) that is meant for house use but works in cars.

    Your exhaust is way loud.

Dynamat is twice the cost of Raammat, and Raammat is by far the best bang for the buck deadener.

Sound deadener will help, but you really need to follow that up with some sound proofing foam (Ensolite).

Rick @ RAAMAudio is one of the best vendors I have even done business with, not to mention Rick is a Subaru fan.
