So I plan to install some prodrive spings on my car sometime in the near future. Doesn't look to terribly hard, and I think it can be done with two people with no problem.

However I have a few questions.

Does anyone have any torque measurements for the struts? I already searched around and found the specs for the bottom bolts, but the tops seem to be harder to find.

Also how long should I wait before I get an alignment? Couple days?

The top is like 30 lbs or so, nothing too strong. You want the nut to cover at least 3 ridges of the stud.

You can get an alignment whenever you want. What you gain from it is proper tire wear and increased handling advantages.

Make sure you don't crank down on the nut to the strut shaft. I think its mainly with rubber components that you have to wait, but the spring will settle as well. I would suggest nothing over a week for the alignment. Also, make sure that the spring is still on the strut when you loosen the top shaft nut. If not, when you got to take it off, the shaft will just spin when you try to take the nut off.
