I got STi pinks. They have the same rates as stock STi springs, a noticeable increase over stock and still supposed to be good for use with stock struts. Also, you could find some used for fairly cheap (from an 04 STi)

There is a group buy over on NASIOC for Crucial Racing springs. Very similar to the STi pinks, but priced a lot better.

  8. So in your opinion what is better overall; adjustable coil overs, or just a good shock and lowering spring?

Daily driving its always better to have a strut spring combo. Most coilovers do not have great dampening on full soft. You will most likely bounce a lot. You do sacrifice spring rate with a spring and strut, but unless you are doing some serious racing you won't realize it.

    I recommend the espiler's and the RCE's.
