I got some dinero for Christmas and would like to upgrade to SS lines when I change the brake fluid. Any recomendations on "cost effective" lines. Also does anyone use speed bleeders? Does it make changing the fluid with one person easy?
This looks like a good deal. Thoughts? http://www.oakos.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=GRSB-Combo
Most SS lines that I have seen are generally comparable in price. I haven't seen any that are drastically cheaper than another. Also, doesn't seem to matter where you buy from, unless shipping costs factor, so I would try to get them locally from one of our vendors.
Sakari should be able to get them for you easily. Check the links up at the top of the page, under the WRXAtlanta banner!
Suby Dude is awesome. Looks like the same price as Oakos but I have always had excellent customer service with Suby Dude. http://www.subydude.com/osc/product...d/170?osCsid=ea557eb9423748f4efbf01af777b5fe7
Oakos comes with the speed bleeders for $120. Not a huge think to get the speed bleeders, it would make it easier for DIY otherwise I will need to hit up on someone to lend a hand. I shot an inquiry to what Sakari had in stock.
I buy mine "new in box" out of the FS section. A lot of people will buy them and never get around to putting them on. I currently run coated Technifit lines i found for $60. Very happy with them.
Techna-fit are the best value ones. They're stainless steel and have a clear plastic coating to prevent fraying and corrosion n shit.
