SS needs help with a Mac

Hey All,
I'm at my parents house in Chicago and they are wanting to give away their old G3 Mac with OS 9. How do I/they wipe the hard drive. If you can help me with this, please give me a call.

OS 9 CD and going to the Utilities Folder on the CD and going to disk utility. Once there, choose to FORMAT the drive. Then, you should be all set.

sweet. Thanks guys, I got it handled. The problem was that they didn't think they had an os9 CD, but they did and J_P helped me through it.
