Have any of you guys/girls bought or researched the prices on takeoff struts from the STi? I am thinking of trying to go with takeoffs and pinks as the most cost effective combination for suspension upgrade. Any of you STi guys looking to sell?

that's not a bad price as long as he doesn't charge you tax. :p :p

newayzz... I got mine for $450 and sold STi springs for another $80 and swap out with JDM Pink Springs. I recommend you to get Group-N top hats as well. It will improve your ride compare to stock strut top hats

Anyone know if there would be a reason why 05 STI struts wouldn't fit an 04 WRX?

Well apparently, the 05 is a completely different sturt assembly. So, I will be looking for 04 takeoffs I guess...

definately, 05 STi struts wont fit into any WRX.

You don't need camber plate on WRX UNLESS you wanna crank out crazy camber. It's possilbe to get -1.5~1.7 with stock camber bolts in the front, but i settled at -1.3 for compromise of highway & curves.

Just for your reference, Here is how much I spent

    $450 STi Struts
    $375 JDM Pink Springs
$40 spring Swap at Kauffman --> This saved me good 2hr labor
    $90 Alignment

My car handles very Neutral. After I put Milo's 20mm OEM rear bar, it leaned little more into oversteer side.
