STI top mount on 2003 wrx

Put a sti top mount on my 2003 wrx but did not line up on the left side has any one else had this problem?

 

yes everyone has that problem.

 

What can i do?

 

enlarge the hole until it fits?

 

Stupid qustion what will this top mount do for my car?

 

more air flow = more power.

 

weel you can leave it loose as some do, or you can get a friend to pull the ic until the hole lines up and you can screw the bolt in.

How much power? Not much, once tuned maybe 5-10whp?

 

7-8 whp but not sure how much he'll get witha the td04

it really only helps that much witha new turbo .. ie vf39

 

i need to dig up the articles but i remember reading that the STI TMIC increases cooling capacity over the stock WRX TMIC but it doesnt do much for airflow

 

yeah, the airflow is just a s bad in the sti one as far as ive read but colloing is better.. so if you ever get a vf39 ur set!

 

i have to disagree i think the sti top mount does wounders for the td04. milo was making close to 265wtq on this setup.
