I'm hoping someone can kind of fill me in with a little bit of info. I'm looking into doing a full swap in my 97 Legacy GT. Parts are coming from a donor 02 WRX. I'm talking about EVERYTHING. Engine, turbo, exhaust, suspension, ecu/wiring, trans, rear diff, etc I know that the cradle will have to come off the WRX onto my Legacy. I'm also pretty sure that I'll have to get the driveshaft cut down a few inches. The reason for keeping the stock wiring and ecu from the WRX is that this car is a daily driver. I don't want to jump into the stand alone ECU thing quite yet. Its a can of worms that I just don't want to open yet. Not to mention, I can still easily get my tag if I have some form of a stock OBDII system. Is there any other odd ball things that I have to worry about?
