Are you running stock wheels, because I see in your sig that you have 18x7.5's? For the stock wheel, I would try and squeeze a 225 onto the wheel. The height of the sidewall really makes the 16 suck for our cars. It would be much better if you could go to a 45 sidewall, which would reduce sidewall flex. Depending on what you are doing with the car, look at the treadware and cost. If you aren't racing on these tires, go with a high treadware and low cost. I found the Falken Ziex's had a high treadware and were really cheap from vulcantires.com.

If you are still on the stockers, the size is 205/55/16. I personally really liked the set of BFG G-Force Sport's that I have....much better than the Falken Ziex's which I have also had, and cheaper too.

Khumo Ecsta SPT for a cheap decent summer-like tire.

I have the Ecsta ASX's on my stockers and I am very happy with them. Supposedly they provide excellent snow traction as well, but I didn't get a chance to check them out this year. :) Dry grip is certainly good enough for daily driving and the wet traction is outstanding for the price of the tire...

All I can say is that, next set of tires I get, I'll get something wider than stock that can fit on the wheels. I've been replacing with like sizes, but I'm ready to live on the wilder side (while still not ready to buy new wheels). As Clemson says above, your sig looks like you've already left stock. NASIOC has a thread that gives hints on what's reasonable. Check Unibomber's FAQs.

yeah, a POO tire!!! I had those for a couple months...hated them! traded back to the Falken FK451. GREAT tire. I'm now running Kuhmo 711. not tooo bad, but not all that great either

I would HIGHLY recommend www.edgeracing.com for tires. BEST prices out there!

I went from a 205/55-16 to a 225/45-16 and had a GREAT experience. No rubbing issues and nice size sticky tires :D

Get the new Bridgestone RE-01rs, almost as good as neovas better than falkens. Right now bridgestone is running a $100 rebate for a set of four. The hardcore street tire folks at the Walnut ridge tour were convinced that they are faster than falkens. They will most certainly be my next set of street tires.
