Strange Handling Characteristic?

Sometimes it seems there is a little tug of war going on with the 4 wheel drive, a little shimmying, sometimes it feels like it is free rolling and smooth. IT is always excellent in bad wheather! Is this a unique characteristic of this set up or should I be concerned. I am used to 2 wheel rear wheel drive cars so I know nothing, well not much anyway :sx: .

Are you just talking about the little jerk the car gives when you get off the throttle very quickly or back on the throttle quickly? The AWD system has a little bit of slack that will cause it to buck when loading or unloading the drivetrain.

Its tough to say without actually feeling it. I'm sure we can knock it out at the install day.

Its just a quirk that goes along with the AWD system. It's the same reason the car will feel like it is "trailor hitching" sometimes.

Stiffer mounts and bushings should help.

Actually This car handles so damn good in rain I look forward to it, just not to the rest of the schmucks out there. These cars are so damn much fun in snow it is addictive. Don't miss the salt damage though.

favorite surface is sand.. super loose thick florida sand, the type you find in the panhandle forests.. theres about 3-4, 2-5 mile all sand roads down there i use to hit up every weekend.. next time i go down to tallahassee, ill see if anyone else wants to go.

Yeah, I have noticed my car doing that too thought it was something wrong cause sometimes I actually chirp the front wheels.
