Ladies and gents, let me introduce you to the Subaru Exgia Concept... Its a Minivan with a hoodscoop!!! Its supposed to have the 2.0l turbo motor with a 5 speed auto. This was unveiled at the Tokyo Auto show. Roadtrip anyone? Link to article: http://allcarsreview.com/2007/10/09/subaru-exiga-7-seater-concept-2007-tokyo-show/
wtf ... subaru has lost their mind ... almost like the other concept car they came out with when they released the SVX ... some ideas just need to stay ideas.
Cool! I think it's good that they are bouncing ideas like a minivan with their concept cars. I could see the concept of a Subaru mini-van really taking off and selling to moms and dads if Subaru: 1) keeps the car safe and adds sliding rear doors. 2) add a little more interior room while still keeping it smaller than a Tribeca The front styling looks very new gen Mazda or Acura to me though, but it's a lot safer than the bugeye, pignose or first Tribecas.
you only say that because you know one day all your illegitimate children will find they're daddy and will need a wagon to tote them around
I guess I was just wondering if you could throw on a VF39 on the minivan without eating your torque converter. I know there are some turbocharged Honda Odysseys on youtube... All I am saying is someone has to go represent on those honda owners, even in the turbo minivan segment...:keke:
If this thing is ever available with a good ol' manual transmission, I could see some making the early morning school run complete with flame-spitting exhausts. That'd be bitchin. And eff you Scotty! My car does not look like a minivan! Jeeez.
I really like it and would consider it for my family, but its just a big wagon, not a minivan - minivans have sliding doors and typically don't have a bench seat for the 2nd row.
