Anyone getting a steady stream of junk mail from subaru? I'm getting a handful of insurance offers all endorsed by subaru. I hate it when companies sell off their addresses to make a buck. I feel betrayed.
I signed up for the do-no-solicit list thing, and it cut the junk mail coming into my mailbox by about 1/2 or so.
I've done it too. But it's disappointing that they took my contact information from their SERVICE record and sold it for a couple bucks. Maybe they're making some kind of kickback too. It puts doubts in my mind about the integrity of a company when this stuff happens.
It's hard to say. I did go to SOA for service in the past. Thats the only time I gave subaru my info. What I should have done was appended -SOA at the end of my last name. Cool. I'm going to do that from now on
I've purchased 4 cars from dealers...the only thing i've got was warranty extension BS in snail mail...? i still get oil change coupons for the RX from SOG. :rofl:
They are business partners and since you've done business with SAO, Liberty has access to you as well.
yea and I have liberty mutual..and like any good insurance company...no perks for drivin a scooby....oh and I haven't received much crap at all from stuff promoting soa...just some car warranty crap..not through subaru....still get crap for my titan that I sold a few months ago and told them via web survey I no longer own..oh well
Thats a fancy way to say that they didn't "sell my information." I wonder who else is their partner. I guess this doesn't even fall under their privacy policy since it's "internal."
