one weird thing is they dont call it a R32,33,34,35 they're actually saying R3 5 so instead of thirty five they say three five lol
Bobby was telling me that there is all sorts of weird stuff with the new Skyline. Like if you take it to a track you have to get it inspected by a Nissan Tech right afterwards or you void your warranty and it uses GPS to only let you reach top speed at tracks, ect. Anyone else hear anything like that? If it is true, that is some hardcore BS.
If Subaru implemented that I would have never own my car. The first thing I'd be doing is yanking the stock ECU and installing a damn Hydra on a stock car!
Oh well. At least those responsible people would have powertrain warranty after going to a roadcourse event. Your warranty would expire when the ECU was disconnected.
To be honest I'm not that kind of person. I voided my warranty the day I bought my car. I can't stand people who mod their car and then break something and try to revert to stock to warranty it......it's pathetic.
Agreed. However, such a feature would be good for those who want to drive the car as intended AND have a powertrain warranty.
This is true. Same rule applies to Porsche as well, they won't void your warranty but something breaks or fails they won't cover it if they didn't get to do a pre track inspection. This is only on the JDM models. USDM will not have those limitations.
Doubt that. The EVO and STi have top speed limiters. So does the WRX and most other cars on the road today.
Eh, I have never owned a car with a warranty. I guess I don't like these new Japanese "super cars" such as the "Skyline" and the IS-F. Not paying that much for a Japanese car. Period.
the 35 looked almost boring to drive (and it's fugly too). the oldest one looked like he was having a ball. i like the blue one the most...
I want one. for the kind of money it will cost it better had kept up and transformed AUTOBOTS rollout!
