i`m leaving to korea this upcoming tuesday until the july 24th, so i was wondering what would be a best way to take care of the car.. it will be just sitting there for a whole month all by itself :wtc: and i dont have friends that will take care of it (they have always been drooling over it, so it's pretty much obvious what they would do with it if i wasnt there :hsnono: ) but anyways, i was just wondering if there are certain things i must do to my car (i.e. disconnect battery so it wont drain the car, etc) before i catch my flight. thanks.
Get some Lucas Fuel Stabilizer to keep the gas good. If you're worried about theft you could always unplug the injectors and fuel pump. I'd give your car a good wash and wax before you leave also so that its easier to clean the grime off of it when you get back.
The AP comes with an anti theft map that cuts the injectors off that i load when i head out of town. Also run the gas tank empty if you can so it doesn't gum up the filter.
if you load the anti-theft map .. make it base.. remember that all real time maps are reset by unplugging the battery for a few mins
