I'm having issues with sunroof leaks on the Legacy. I think it's a bit more than just clogged gutters, most of the rubber seals have dry rotted. Heck the dry rotted rubber could be clogging the gutters.

I'm debating putting another assembly in or completely removing it and welding in some metal. In the mean time I figured some sort of taping will be my next "bitchin' mod" for the car.

Anyone have a good tape recommendation for this application. I am a bit concerned about the paint because it's in pretty good shape on the roof.

Why dont you get the rubber stuff on the bottom of garage doors and try resealing your roof?

Good tape would be the patiners tape delicate, but I mean...the regular stuff works fairly well too (and I can tell you, as I use it when I paint lights).
