hey guys, trying to chip an old mobo socket A. are the palomino and thoroughbred cores interchangeable? the mobo only supports XP2000 athlons but doesnt get more specific in the manual....

That board should support barton cpu's as well....check the forums at Anandtech.com btw I have a 2500+ barton for sale if you're interested
