So i JUST got back from topspeed and I really couldn't be happier . Big thanks to doug, will, and eveyone there.

So yes, we estimate (assuming the same losses as the wrx 5 speed) that the car now puts out aprox 333 horsepower and 400ft/lb of torque at the crank (250hp and 300ft/lb at the wheels). I'll post up the dyno plot in a sec. The power is so smooth and i keep changing gears and it still gives me whiplash. So lemmy get my camera and i'll get some pics/plots up.

    :)

Edit: Dyno plot shown a few posts below FYI

congratz on BIG power. I felt the power of 300wtq before, and it was AWESOME!!

BTW, I heard that LGT and STi share the same engine, ECU, injectors, and etc. So what makes the 50 whp different?? (i think lots of STi with TBE + EM makes near 300whp)

Yea it's a blast, i just stopped by home to get some food and then out to drive more. I have no idea about the difference in hp/tq for the sti and legacy jjang12, but they have slightly different parts. The legacy revs lower due to the different cams, etc but they are largely the same block. I can't wait for the mountain run on sat

so far it's whiteline sways, helix uppipe, cobb downpipe/midpipe, me inc. straighpiped exhaust, and a hardwire for my Valentine 1 ghost detector.

The funny thing was, my IC hose was loose so i had no boost the first pull. I got less than stock NA figures. Once that was figured out it was smooth sailing. This is not the highest dyno plot we got but it was fairly close.

Thats a hell of a jump, TQ is what u truly feel. i'd like to see what one would do with a turbo and tmic upgrade.

No kidding. I hopefully can get similiar results with the Crucial UP/DP combo in the near future.

    different heads and turbo

heads as exhaust manifolds?? icic Still that's great potential with LGT once you step up with bigger turbo and maybe FMIC (seems like it's kinda awkard to put bigger TMIC under small scoop).

My dad wanted me to get LGT instead of WRX due to its smaller size. He thought that WRX = civic and worried about crash safety.

  23. Doesn't the legacy GT have plastic intake runners?

Radon i saw your profile in the computer at top speed, or at least some one with the same nick. If/when you do your car let me know if you have a whole lot of wastegate flutter. Mine goes nuts and I would bet it's due to the reduced backpreasure after the turbo.

I would bet in a year or so i'll get a TMIC replacement or FMIC and a slightly larger turbo but i wouldn't mind seeing some one elses numbers first. There is already gobs more power than i could ever need at this point. Now i have to go figure out what SCCA class i am in now that i use higher boost.

side note: They say gas mileage goes up, but they don't take into account that you will want to red line the damn thing everywhere you go. I think i might give milo a run for his money in terms of raw sound now too.

Thanks for the clarification. I was unfamiliar with the milo scale. I guess that comes from going to school up north
