I am looking to put new springs on my 03 wrx. TEIN say 2.0 inthe front and 0.7 in the rear. Does the front sit way lower then the rear? Does any one have these on there car and a pic a can see.

The S techs are definitely for looks and not performance. The front drop is really low. Its a lot more than you need for an even drop for the front and rear. The front sits higher than the rear.

Definitely expect the "slammed" look...IMHO, I'd check out some springs that will give you some performance increases (Prodrives, Espelirs, etc.)

Get the Tein Basic coilovers. You can make the drop whatever you want within reason. Its the least expensive Tein coilover on the market. It doesn't have camber plates, but you can still use camber bolts to get OE alignment. Thats a better option than any spring out there, especially since you still have stock struts.

If you can sell your prodrives for a little over $100, $400+ could get you really close to a set of used basics. Just watch the forums and be patient. This way you will have a much better strut also. It will dampen out that higher spring rate and lower ride height. Just make sure you do some research about installing them properly.

I love my S techs.....but if you have the money, coilovers will be a better choice...I like the front being lower than the rear...

I know you saw my car at nopi. I just want it to be lower. The prodrives are just not cutting it.

Ground control springs might be a good option. Height adjustable springs and you can order any springrate you want. THought for the price of ground controls and struts you might as well get soft coilovers.
