I'll start it off

This first pic was close to my house. I was making a run to the store.

I must add.....This is the first time I've had my Subaru in any respectable amount of snow. It does amazing.

Yeah. Very stealthy. Especially considering all of the windows are covered, nobody will have a clue as to who's behind the wheel. Hahah.

I'm in Asheville, but we got some of the white stuff too. I noticed that when I left my apartment and went out to check on the road conditions that there was a small grove in the center of my tire tracks. Pretty sure my downpipe and/or exhaust. Good times. I'm going to go out and enjoy it before the ice comes.

 

My car is sitting on the carport and will probably stay there for a day or 2. I don't know if the roads are going to clear up in my area for me to attempt to goto work tomorrow.

 

I got most of it off. Just not risking anything trying to go to work.

 

Dreading the trip home. Snow at home, wet mushy ice at work.......not good stuff.

I bet he is wishing he had them now. When he tried to turn left he wound up spinning.

I tried to catch it on video but I wasn't fast enough to get the phone to the video recorder

My friend stuffed her 06 Mazda 3 in a ditch after not listening to me and staying off the roads.

She is a smart girl that just does not listen to her common sense very often.

 

I've been on the roads the past few days quite a bit. I've seen TONS of cars ran off into ditches. People who don't know how to drive in this kind of weather should stay off the roads.

Hell, I've sat outside my house watching people crash on the S bend that goes right by my house lol

Whattt. What a day ruiner. Is she okay?

 

Yeah, she is fine. It happened Sunday night as she was driving around getting some supplies. From what I can tell, it was the freezing rain and sleet that caught her out as that fell before the snow where she was at the time. I don't know what shape her car is in at this time. I am sure I will hear about it in a few days.

She can be a very good driver if she is not distracted. Her mind was not fully on what she was doing as she had a small fight with her boyfriend before the trip for supplies. This is where the common sense comes in as she didn't use it before leaving.
