Does your STI not come with the pitchmounts, tranny mounts, etc? What about a cheap boost gauge and a MBC? Auto-intercooler sprayer . . . I cant really tell a difference with mine other than I'll pop the hood and the reservoir will be half-empty after a couple WOT runs.
Already have boost guage, and I Have no intentions of fucking with a mbc. Just replacing whats there with the grp n mounts that deserve to be there.
I didnt know that the STIs came with lesser mounts. Well I guess you learn something new everyday (like Alex doesnt like MBCs . . .jk)
STi comes with the same rubber mounts throughout that the standard WRX has. The Group N mounts are all rally homologation program parts. See here: http://www.subaru-sti.co.jp/e/GRN/index.html And the parts list: http://www.subaru-sti.co.jp/e/GRN/parts/list.html
I figured I would take this approach to cover everything before springs, bars, etc all went on. It just seems logical.
Yup! It eliminates a lot of the "bad habits" present in the stock WRX or STi without changing the wheel rate, roll center, or yaw characteristics.
