My car has been slipping occasionally in 5th and 6th gear when it is cold outside, so I am sure more is around the corner. I have found the OEM replacement clutch and am pretty close to ordering the flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing, but wanted any input you guys had on aftermarket or the OEM clutches. Thanks.

OEM is fine. Any organic clutch is going to last about the same amount of time as the stocker.

So if you like the stocker...just fine a cheap ebay organic and go with that.

There is usally no need to order a flywheel and pressure plate, just replace the disk, unless you are making a lot powere and they are burnt or warped.

I am also going to install a dp and go stage 2 when I do this, would I need a stronger clutch in this case?

I am going to order a new clutch disc and throwout bearing, and have my my flywheel resurfaced. Genuine Subaru OEM parts lists one as a Release bearing, is that the same as the throwout bearing? Any suggestions or ideas?

I have the clutch disc and release bearing (which I assume is the same as the throwout bearing), but should I get a new release fork and pilot bearing?

no need to replace the fork. It should outlast the life of the car.

I wanted to say thanks to Ped for replacing my clutch this weekend. He did an awesome job the car is running great now. We or mainly he wrestled with my motor for about 2 hours because it didn't want to leave the transmission, apparently it is co-dependent. I think Ped might have made it more difficult to get out of a dinner party that night, but I am not sure....j/k. So I just wanted to say thanks for all his hard work this weekend.
