As I mentioned in other thread that my stock tires are nearly slicks at this point, it's time to look for the replacements. Any comments on this matter?
lol, i saw your thread, but I'm pretty happy with my bbs stock. I just new rubbers. I believe 04 STi and WRX uses the same bolt pattern, I was thinking about picking up Nemesis's stock for autox, just for fun so i'm not killing new tires.
The wrx wheels will not fit over the brembo's (if you've got an sti). You could look into the Falken Azenies, Hankook RS2's or buy Trey's Pirelli Corsa's (super sticky tires -- If he hasnt' sold them yet) http://www.wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7391
WRX wheels will most likely not fit over the Brembos. The WRX wheels are only 16" while the STi's are 17". I don't know what you want to do with these tires so it is a little hard to give you advice. If you are just doing street, the Kuhmo Ecsta's are pretty decent. If you are running a lot of negative camber up front, I would suggest the Nitto NeoGen's. You really shouldn't pay over $120 for a decent daily driver tire. Just make sure the treadware is 280 or above, that way they will last you more than a year.
Thanks for the info thus far. All I wanted was good street tires that if I choose to run in autox, that it will perform decently. I was looking at these, any idea? http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...eed_rating=ZR&speed_rating=WR&speed_rating=YR and http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...eed_rating=ZR&speed_rating=WR&speed_rating=YR
i have some falkin fk452 17x7.5 and love them. Lots of grip for autox and street stuff. Need to get warm though so no BS in snow, but hell you're in GA.
