Too "rice" or too nice?

It's basically an evo vortex generator for an STI...

ahhhh....i wouldn't do it to my STi. i'm all about keeping it clean. but i wouldn't knock anyone for having it.

 

I like it better than the new spoiler thingy on the top of the rear window of the '06... Prolly wouldn't add it to my car(if I had an STi).

 

if it actuall improved the aero of the car i would definitely put it on, it's pretty bad ass.

Anyone know what the one that goes on the bottom is called? The only ones I've seen don't go all the way across.

 

I thought it was called the "rear diffuser"

I think its too low key to be rice, but I dont necessarily thinks its nice either... if its functional, then by definition it wouldn't be rice.

I like it but I'm not completely sold on the aero aspects of it. I wouldnt say that it's impersonating an Evo either since some race cars have been doing it for a while.

I'd rock one if I was going with a pretty aggressive look and had a sedan. Keith, that rear diffuser is from the OEM body kit.

personally, i think it should match the car body color, unless you have trim pieces also black, like skirts, mirror, hood scoop, diffuser, etc.

 

its CF though..it matches every color

 

i think you could get away with it on a black sedan like Milo's or something agressive looking....do they make the towel racks for bug eyes yet?

 

The towel racks should fit on any WRX/STI. That part of the car has not changed since first bringing the WRX to the US.

what color is your car? i like it but i ilke it better on darker colors.

 

this vortes thing clears the air before it hits the wing, i think it stops there from beinng a pokes before the wing, but that one seems pretty non functional, i would get the rear valance? from the 06 sti

I saw "the roof spike thingy" online for $380. That's a little to much for me to spend unless it was going to give me more power or better handling. I do think it would look bad-ass on an STi, though.

My car is WRB...and I think it would look better on darker colors too.

I don't think the 06 STi valance looks as good as the evo vortex generator.

I think the rear diffuser is "Sweeet".

 

now i wonder... would the 06 sti valance work on a wrx since it was designed to work with the sti wing?

A CF rear diffuser will be out soon....stay tuned.

Oh and I'd paint that vortex spoiler to match the body as well.
