One of our Sponsored STi's ran a 10.8 yesterday in a Montgomery Race.

Well, today was bitter sweet. My first pass didn’t go so well, but Doug made some quick changes to the map, which resulted in an immediate 10.87 at 127mph. I nailed a 1.69 60ft, which is pretty hard to do with a dogbox, triple disc clutch, and virtually no practice on my new setup (4 launches total before today). We data logged that run and discovered I was only making 26psi. I also hit some fuel cut in the upper half, ran 7.00 @ 101mph in the 8th, but fell short up top at 127mph. Doug made some quick changes, and we ran it again. The car was insane!!!! My car was screaming down the track, until I snapped an input shaft going from 3rd-4th. I was headed for a low/mid 10sec pass, but coasted through the traps.

    Anyway, I’ll be back.

That is nuts. I love how the car is a total sleeper save for that massive front mount. Congrats!

    input shaft snapped AGAIN

even if it's a 4 speed, you still have normal 5th and 6th gear...I think.

Its a PPG/Andrewtech 6MT with 1-2-3-4 as straight cut dog-box setup. Still has 5-6, but...dont know details on that.

Unless something has changed since last time I read about it...
