tune up

    whats the max psi u can get out of the stock turbo of an sti

    On pump gas, I wouldn't run much over 19psi peak with a taper towards redline. This is what SS recommends and I have been happy with it. However, I wouldn't turn it up with simply a boost controller and without proper tuning.

    hmm isnt stock 14.5psi or close to it

    ^^^That is stock boost for the VF39. He was asking for max boost.

    i know i was just thinking to myself only 5 more psi is its peak

    It'll run whatever PSI you want, BUT...

    Max safe is 18~20 depending on tune, weather, fuel type, and if you have water or methanol injection.
