I am looking to improve the aerodynamics of my brick I call a car. I am wondering if anyone knows of a local place that sells large sheets of abs plastic? I am looking to go one off and am on a major budget. Thanks in advance.

There are a few guy on Nasioc that have home made them out of fiberglass. Let us know what you find.

Exactly. I didn't want to use fiberglass. I know a guy that know where the nascar guys get their stuff, I'll just ask him.

Are you talking about a rear splitter or something to go under the front?

Under the front. It will go from the front of the cross member to a few inches protruding from the front bumper.

Mcmaster Carr is the answer you seek.

Have you considered a skid plate?

I would do a nice front lip before trying to make a splitter. I have seen so many aero FAIL attempts at building splitters.

Search Splitters on Time Attack forums. There is some good information on there. You maybe able to build you something really trick. If you were not wanting to build something yourself. Check out http://www.prototypecomposites.com/

    Good luck!

Use a big sheet of aluminum.

    One piece splitter/flat bottom/rear diffuser.

Some tunnels would improve downforce as well.

If you do do it right it'll hurt you more than help.
