Urine Tests Like a lot of folks in this state I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass. Could you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check????? :si: Any comments???
I hate welfare. People should have to do something to earn the money...I don't care if its picking up trash off the side of the road. To answer youre question Yes that is perfectly acceptable.
I sit on my butt all day and don't have to take a urine test. Just kidding, I know what you mean. The wefare and children services used to be in the same building as me and it was a horrible sight to say the least. most people, not all, think we OWE it to them to provide a living and have no intentions or desire of making a living for themselves. this all has to do with that lovely goverment we have
Just to be clear...if you are a functioning member of society and you choose to smoke pot or use heroin....so be it....its youre own damn money. If you are on welfare, well then fuck you.
i always wondered that too...why don't they piss test these people that are getting welfare...because i know some of them use that money for drugs...you can't deny that. its all fawked.
That's to the point. I also think that they should be LEGAL residents that have to pass a piss test before they get hospital care, an education, free government cheese or whatever, and that there need to be better checks to cut off benefits to the slackers.
I'll have to disagree on the Legal resident part....err...partiallly anyway. The sad thing is our economy simply won't function without illegal immigrants. If it were not for them the building industry would be in sad shape.
since Clinton revised the federal laws, an indevidual can not be on welfare for more than 5 years and most states have limited it to 3 years on their own. "In addition, most adult welfare recipients are now required to find jobs within two years after the beginning of their case, and they are limited to a maximum of five years of assistance in their lifetimes." - http://socialissues.wiseto.com/Articles/FO3020640046/ I would agree that 5 years is a long time to get free $$, but with the amount they pay and the fact that you can't buy drugs or alcohol with food stamps (which is part of it as i understand), they won't be living well. I'm against drug testing since if you can perform at work and not be on drugs/alcohol then, then fuck it.
Veggies are going up..I dont mind them being here but at least learn the language and become Legal!! legally
Here's something to consider: Urine tests cost the state some jack. 50 for the test strips (by the way, folks can get clean for these in 2-3 days with the uh..."$50 system flush", something like a week or 2 just drinkin water) , 300 for hair analysis(years),+ blood test for opiates etc., subsidized labor costs for whichever drug test agency they send them to. I don't know if the state would shell out or not to make sure their investment is safe.
^^^ well if we spend 50 on a few folks and have one failing test...then the monthly check that would be saved would pay for several tests. and if they would just legalize 420 then they would make lots on the taxes...just a narrow thought...
