If anyone has a boost gauge installed in their car, could you help me out? I need either a really good description of where to 't' the line into for the boost gauge. I am not sure if it should come from the cdv valve or the intake manifold. If someone has a picture they could take and send me or know where one is on the internet I would really appreciate it. Thanks for the help.

Here's where I tapped mine. I actually got a 2" or so piece of vacuum tubing and a T so didn't cut anything.

moose, how about getting the line through the fire wall. Did you use the spot that kind of goes over the fender well where the fuse box is in the engine compartment?

If you look above the clutch pedal from inside the car (you may need to pull back the carpet a tad) there's a rubber plug there that leads into the engine compartment. Just pull it out and cut a slot in it to pull the line through.

Is it easy to access through the engine compartment or does anything need to come out like the washer fluid bottle?

It's easiest to get to from below... I'd recommend removing the plug from inside and shoving a stick or something through so you can spot it though; it kind of sits right above the frame so you won't see it easily.

Or drive up on ramps... if you do jack it up, please make sure you use stands.

Always jack stands. Thanks for the big help. Now its just a matter of getting it wired to the clock radio power source. Is there an easier 12v source that i dont have to dig up through the dash for?

Probably could use something off the fuse box. I threw on an add-a-circuit thing for switched power that doesn't cut out when cranking (my gauges are electric so had to have this). But the rest I tapped the clock pod for since I was using the autometer bezel and it was easy to get to.

Well I pulled down the carpet below the clutch petal. There was this white plastic thing that I unscrewed. Around the screw though, it feels like hard plastic. Is this what you drilled into, or how did you make the whole through there? Or am I doing this in the wrong place?

Above the clutch pedal. It's a rubber stopper piece.

Well its installed, but I still don't have the power source yet and it works great. I can't figure out how to remove the clock. Is there some clips that has to be accessed from under the dash or can I just kind of pull the clock out from the top?

You can pull it out from above with some effort. I used a flat, thin blade and slid it down the edge near the back and wrestled it out it that way. Be careful not to put a nick/dent in your dash though.

    Glad you got it working.

Well I am still working on the clock, but its minor. I should have the gauge powered up for night mode by tonight.

The factory boost gauge draws power from a cluster behind the radio. I tapped power for my Omori from there. It is just a few screws and the radio pops out. Let me know if you need more detail. Good luck!

I finally got the clock out of the car. I am having trouble deciding which wire to cut. On the back of the clock there are some three letter abbreviations, but I not 100% sure of which I need to tap into. The options from top to bottom are BAT, GND, LIG, ACC. I figure the GND is the ground and I shouldn't tap into that. Can someone please help...

I PM'd you, but it sounds like you want to tap LIG if you're looking for a light source for the gauge.

    BAT should be constant on
ACC should be on with the ignition
LIG should be on with the gauge lights and head lights
    GND is ground

Thanks for the help. I learned the hard way that the BAT is the constant on. I will connect into the LIG tomorrow monring, but for tonight the battery is just disconnected.
