Varsity 5/4/2006

Well it's almost time again. Super large car meet at the varsity in downtown atlanta on Thursday, May 5, 2006. Starting around 8pm. Last month There were so many people that people started parking across the street. It's insane how many people show up. You'll never know what you'll see either (in terms how people act!).

I'll most likely be there. HOW ABOUT YOU?!

 

thats the part that tends to keep me away from there... regardless, my parents will be in town so i doubt i can make it

 

If I can get a tag for the 240 in time Ill be there.

 

i might show if nothing better to do, i had a great time last time and was overwelmed with how many cars were there.

 

I'll be there Matt....It should be a great turnout...I hope that the Skyline will be there too...How is the QT job going?.

i should be there but i might bring my new 1000rr i just bought instead of the sti.

Our store is short staffed. So I originally asked for 35 hours a week, but they got me going at 50 a week. After about a month, I'll be getting 35 hours like I originally asked (next week!). This week i have 39 hours, so it's slowly coming down.

And there was an incident that happened at my store also. The local homeless guy in Lawerncville was struck and killed outside the store after I gave him his last free drink. He always had on a cameo jacket, had a long beard, always mumbled/talked to himself. Nicest homeless guy I ever met. Gave him a smoke once too. William was him name.

 

Where at the Varsity?

 

you cant miss it man, it takes up the ENTIRE parking lots.

 

ya I NEED to go, but have no ride
I gotta pick up some parts for the 240 there, free parts
gotta find someone that can give me a ride and doesn't mind having a rapped up set of calipers and a power steering rack in their car (all wrapped and I'll bring a tarp and towels, so as not to damage their car)

 

How often do these Varsity meets happen?
I wont be able to make this one but would like to make some in the future:sx:
