Wirelessly posted Unfortunately I am replying from the phone but I belive the info is on brembo's and stoptech's site.
thanks guys. I was asking about calipers in the other thread because I'm wondering if there will be anything left to turn the rotors after 130,000 miles. If not, then I was going to get fresh blank rotors, good aftermarket pads, flush & swap for steel lines, and paint the calipers. being ignorant, I read some of the threads to get educated. This seemed like a good deal since I wont be doing heavy track work: http://knsbrakes.com/productDetails.php?id=13638&car_id=782
I work with Ken over at KNS frequently. He is always a pleasure to deal with. Those rotors, I forgot the brand name, should suit you well if all you are doing is highway cruising. What pads are you considering using?
i havent decided. I'm very ignorant about pads. Since this is my high milage car, ergonomics will have to be the most important thing. In this case, quiet operation.
well, I was actually going to ask various vendors to put together a package for me and $ee what they come up with. But to do that, I needed to know what I didnt know about what I wanted.
so literally. there is no DD benefit to fancy rotors, only racing thats got heavy repetitive braking? after vented, its just a matter of build quality?
