Anybody running these on stock struts?

    Aftermarket struts?

I have heard good things about these springs, is there anything bad about them?

They aren't the stiffest springs if you are concerned about racing, but anything will be better than stock. You can easily use them on aftermarket and stock struts with no problem. You will have to replace your stock struts soon if you use them, but that will still probably be well after 100k depending on your driving use.

These wouldn't be for racing, just to make the ride a little less "mushy"

And if it gives me an excuse to upgrade struts or fabricate with Koni inserts, then that's cool too.

Koni's are definitely over kill for non-racing. You are spending way too much money for a racing strut that could be surficed with a simple KYB or Tokico.

These plans are far in the future, so I am just speculating.

From the way people have talked about Koni's, I got the impression that they were a step below a complete aftermarket strut. If its cheaper to get a whole strut, then I'll do that.

The Koni's just look like fun to put together.

You can get a set of AGX's for less than 350, which is a full adjustable strut. The Koni is a step below a coilover. The cheapiest I ever saw a Koni for was 150/strut.

I don't believe they make agx's for 06 wagons yet. As of right now Konis or coilovers are the only options.

Then wait until they do. Koni's should be reserved for people with too much money or racing.

You can occasionally find a good deal on them used and with the lifetime warranty I wouldnt hesitate to buy them used. Thats at least what I did, $600 for struts new seems ridiculous, especially considering that after camber plates and springs you've basically got the price and functionality of a coilover minus the ability to independently adjust heights/corner weights.

If you look at the sticky at the top of the handling forum there's a list of spring rates for most aftermarket springs. The wagon pinks are not very stiff in the overall scheme of things but they will not give you a saggy but and likely wont make your rear tires rub.
