Wanting to repaint spoiler, any tips?

I'm wanting to repaint my peeling flaking spoiler with color matched spray paint from paintscratch.com

Does anybody have any good tips for how to do this, and more importantly how to remove paint off of plastic?

 

I was thinking of 400 or 300 grit sandpaper on a sander, but I was wanting to know if there's any good chemical paint removers for plastic.

 

Have you made any calls around to some body shops etc and see if they will give you some feedback?

 

If I have a body shop do it I can't huff .. err I mean ... yeah uh ... tinker and learn something new...
