Whenever I go over any kind of speed bump, my car always makes like a bouncing noise or something. I am not sure what it is. I am thinking it might be the springs (TEIN springs). The previous owner said it was the strut bar, but I haven't really looked into it. He also said it could be that the springs need some sort of oil or something. Any ideas?
it is very possible that it is your bushings on your sway bars..is it coming from the front or back of your car?
maybe your struts??? i heard that TEIN springs (or any aftermarket stiffer springs) will wear out struts fast.
nope... i had a clicking sound coming from the drivers side front... its not gone yet and has not gotten worse either
if its a clicking it might be a problem with your cv joint..you might want to get that checked out dewd..that can turn into a serious problem
yeah a clicking sound can turn into a popping sound within about 10 miles and then it can turn into no grease in the boot and then... well, good by c.v. joint... similar something happened with my gf's accord... long story...
slpymnky, any shuddering when you turn or brake hard? any difference in ride quality? tring to help diagnos it... i have learned alot of this kinda crap since i started my job...
i had it looked at by knowledge... kevin said it was an axel... then i got it looked at by porter and by scott.. both said its not an axel... also it makes the sound in full lock left turn in reverse... also it makes 2 clicks and no more... hasn't gotten worse since then
I actually had a similar problem with mine and it was the bushings. If they weren't properly lubed on install they tend to squeak on compression. Do you also notice it when you brake hard?
