well i went out to the track today down here in albany. us19 dragstrip, only 1/8th mi. but here is my best so far. i got to get my 60' time down b/c the harder i launch i start blowing the front tires (or tire) away.

    60'- 1.8308
    330'- 5.0960
    1/8- 7.8132
    1/8th trap- 89.27

same mods i have had except i dont remember if i posted where i made a custom 2.5in mandrel bent turbo inlet..... what does everyone think?

Hey dude, are you slipping the clutch? If not, definitely try that, just a quick slip of the clutch got me the best 60 foots. You'll feel it when you do it good, no shock or anything, just a smooth takeoff.

    thats a good 1/8th mile time. Probably low/mid 12's in the 1/4.

    My 12.4 run was similar

    1.722 60
    5.17 330
    1/8 7.995 @ 89.48 mph
    1/4 12.4 @ 113.13

edit: found my actual timeslip and fixed the post

what i meant was 'what times are good in a 1/8th mile'

  11. I think ET of 8.5 and less and trap of 85 mph or more is pretty good for the 1/8 mile.

pretty good is relative... what do u think is pretty good in the quarter?

  13. pretty good in a 1/4 mile to me will be less than 13... running 8.5 or less in the 1/8th mile will get you less than 13 in a 1/4 mile or at least close to there I believe. That's what I'm hoping to run in the 1/8th mile next weekend... after a disappointing times this past weekend due to my boost leak but I found the leak and fixed now so looking forward to it next weekend

Anyone care to join? I'm going to the one in Calhoun exit 317 off of 75N. I had 8-9 runs in like 2 hour preiod of time with like 10 mins break after 2-3 runs... barely anyone there... well at leat last sunday that is... ;)

My friend with stock 05 evo with turbo back, no EM ran 8.4 @ 86mph with 1.8 60'... Pretty damn good with just turbo back if you ask me... I'm jealous haha

sorry i havent checked this post in a while. i ran a 12.6 at cecil this past sunday but that was with a great 1.9 60ft b/c they MADE me go through the water box and the track wasnt prepped worth shit. hopefully we will be doing some headwork in the near future and tune on race gas w/ methanol just to see what happens. oh and im running the sr50 ecutek ra tranny with sti clutch/pp/flywheel and other supporting mods on some old bald ass tires that wont grip. it will come down but this past sunday noone that was with us ran good. maybe b/c it was 1billion* outside
