I figured I'd share my supersecret hamburger recipe with everyone.

    80% Ground Sirloin
20% Ground Bacon (keeps the burger juicy since sirloin is very lean)
    Thyme
    Rosemary
    Salt
    Pepper
    1 Small Shallot
    1 Medium Onion
    1 Clove of garlic
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Heat up a sauce pan to medium high and put in 2 tbsp of olive oil. Dice up the shallot onion and garlic. As soon as the pan gets hot toss in the shallot, onion, and garlic. Saute a few minutes until the onions get nice and soft

In another bowl combine the ground sirloin, ground bacon, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, and the onion mixture that was sauteed. Let this mixture sit for atleast 2 hours.

After 2 hours form into patties and grill.

I usually serve this with Boursin cheese (soft white cheese with herbs in it) smeared onto toasted sourdough with romaine lettuce.

    Bon Appetit
