So I really want a Mac but just cant spend that type of money on one right now anyways, So when it comes to a light weight semi fast but affordable laptop what would you lean towards. I want it mainly for editing my photos and what not and carrying in my bag so Ill have it if I go to a race event and fill up my cards which I tend to do. I also need it at work on the ambulance to just surf the web I don't play games except tetris from time to time so it dont have to be to fancy. So i guess main reason are photos edit and Internet usage and data logging nothing to drastic. So lets see your choices.
i just got a mac book pro from my school im loving it. sorry had to do it. my dell insperon was great until the screen craped out but that was a whole 5 years i owned it before it broke.

Take a picture of the battery I got a Dell laptop that went swimming in salt water but the battery is still good
