what turbo are you running?

    wanting to upgrade my turbo to something larger, but staying w/ stock block. just wanted to see what turbos everyone are running? thinking about a 20g. i want more power but not sure if i want to go bigger w/ stock block......

    20g will be fine on a stock block.

    i want as much power as possible, w/o chancing the block.....little side note, i will be running alcohol injection w/ the turbo. the only problem i have seen w/ the 20g, is that it seems to give out up top. its mean ass hell though low end

    get it clipped that will help some with the top end. ive seen a 20g on meth w/ stock block get 430hp without problems.

    maybe a SZ49 or green??

    Could wait for the Helix turbo.
    Supposed to be similar to Green with the spool of the 20g

    gt30r myself, but a 20g is still decent enough.

    There's also a couple of twin-scroll gt30's and 35's that are
    **supposed** to be out towards Sept. or so.

    From APS and one from Automaster.

    Might be worth looking into/ waiting for...
    Probably looking at $4000 for the kits though.

    ...I dont know what's more exciting the tq or the hp in Brians car just makes you:)

    ^^ any reason you wouldn't want to go rotated??
    I was looking at some deadbolt turbos myself, but decided for the cost,
    might as well go rotated

    just cuz it bolts on without tgv deletes, etc... i know the rotated setup opens up a lot more room for power but right now i would prefer to keep it 'stockish' :D

    i dunno, i might change my mind before i actually buy it

    i was dead set on a 20g, but now i'm gonna go w/ the gt30r! :naughty:
