Does anyone know of a good 16x8 wheel for the WRX that I am not going to have to pay an arm and a leg for? It doesn't have to be forged, but that size they normally are racing wheels.

Rota slipstreams come in 16x8. Check subydude.com they're around 600-700

They are all sold out i think at subydude. I was hoping for something other than the Rota's. Not that I don't like them, because my attacks are sweet. Just seeing if there was anything more variety in the cast aluminum category.

id watch the forums.....wheels are rather expensive normally. Most people have Volks, or Rotas. I got the OZ superlaggeras in 17x8 for 500 for the set. They are normally 300 a wheel. so just keep your eyes peeled.

Has anyone fit a 245/16 onto an 16x8? I am curious about rubbing and actually keeping the tire on the rim considering its 1.24" larger than the rim and race rubber.

Well crap. Any second opinions? I might have a really good hook up for used race rubber in that size.

I think you could run a 245 on an 8 inch wheel. I've read on Nasioc of 05+ STI owners running 245s on their stock 17x8 wheels.

That being said I dont know of many 16x8 wheels other than the Rotas. I second Brian, keep looking for stuff for sale on Nasioc or I club.

Rotas would be your cheapest (obviously). If they're sold out through subydude, SoG also sells rotas and will price match. If not, I'm TopSpeed will. What offset are you planning on running with that width?

    Haha!

Probably the 48 offset like the Rota wheel comes, unless there is some good reason not to. Anybody? Thanks for the additional Rota suppliers, that may come in handy. Anyone know of someone that could strip the paint off the wheels and make them the gold since they dont carry them? Have any idea of how much it would cost also?

Millers Powdercoating will completely re-powder coat your wheels for anything from $45 to 85 a wheel. A great price!

I contacted subydude by email. They said that they will probably not carry that size of wheel anymore. Does the re-powder coating include the stripping?
