Does anyone know where to get custom maps for the accessport 2.0, other than cobbtunning.com? Or just any other maps?
you will get a custom map if you get it tuned by The Siegel I dont really consider a map you can download to be "custom"
Pretty much any Protuner should be able to make you one or more custom maps specifically tuned for your car and needs/wants. The downloadable maps from Cobb are 'off-the-shelf', very conservative maps since they aren't made for a specific car. Be very careful about downloading anything else; some people share their custom maps that worked for _their_ car, but it might perform worse or be downright harmful on yours.
https://www.pdxtuning.com/secure_maprequest.htm PDX makes off the shelf maps for your COBB by email request for whatever mods you might have, i've heard occaisional good things about them if your mod list isn't too extensive.
I seriously doubt it is... unless they ask for logs, send you a new map, ask for logs etc until the map is just about right, it's just a slightly fancier version of the Cobb OTS maps. There's a reason people like SS can charge what they do: you'll get a tune for YOUR car based on exactly how it behaves.
Actually if I remember right they actually do get logs then modify the tune. But I like a hands on tuner working on the car personally...
can the new AP2 datalog ? Is there a cable like the AP1 that you can use it for datalogging using aftermarket SW and a laptop
i dunno, i thought a protune was like 400, it's about a third of that. you could look on nasioc in the west coast forum for some opinions.
