depends on what you want, do you just want the name, or hosting too? i use hostway.com for myself and several clients. it's pricey, but you get a LOT of stuff, including a very powerful webmail-to-out look setup, blog, analytics, prebuilt/customizable formmail scripts and sharepoint space.
I had to register a domain for a class this quarter and I went with bluehost.com although I haven't used it yet.
I use godaddy, and I rarely have issues with it. I do not, however, like any form of their webhosting. I have 3 clients that use them right now for web hosting and it is always a PITA. Nevertheless, when it comes to domain registration I love 'em!
