I know a few of you use turbo blankets... which one would be a good choice for a VF34?

I'll take a look at that (Thermo-Tec); any idea if it'll fit under the heatshield?

Been doing a little more reading, and right now I'm leaning towards blanketing the turbo and using that coating Veck posted about for UP/DP...

Yeah dude, blankets are defianately the way to go. I cannot recommend any brands off the top of my had, however, stray from the Static-X one for sale on IWSTi. Ive read of numerous fitment issues.

Thermo-tec is a good one. I have my turbo wrapped with the static-x kit currently, no complaints about either.

Are you using a heatshield as well?

Yes I use both, I have a cusco heat shield. Pondering if I can coat the intercooler pipe to keep heat out.

I went ahead and ordered the Static-X kit for the VF39; the guy said he'd fit it for a vf34 when fabbing it if I asked. $40 or so total.

Will post review when I get it.
