I just got the whiteline anti-lift kit. has anyone had any experience with this upgrade?? Does it make a noticeable difference??

I was just looking at vividracing's website and under the perrin p.s.r.s (basically the same thing) they said it will not work with aftermarket front sway bars, does anyone know if this is true??? if that is true then i may not install it due to the fact that i have uprgraded sway bars. Although i really dont see how it would affect the sway bars at all, if nothing else the spacers on the subframe will allow more space for the sway bar.

    Any info would be awesome!!

I do have experience with the whiteline and the PSRS is virtually the same. the ALK is on my car, and YES! It's a significant difference in feel. It can get noisy on bumps, but I love the thing anyway. (there's a part review posted on the forums) It's a bitch to install though. If you want help, I learned *A LOT* last time I did this and can probably help yours go much smoother than mine did...
As far as after market sways not fitting? I don't see why. The control arm mounts (what you're replacing aren't really close to the sway bars (the end of the arms is behind the front wheels....). I know the ALK will accomodate sways, so I don't see why the PSRS would be any different.

oh. good read that does track tests with the ALK:
check out "WRX at the Apex" it's on whitelines website (www.whiteline.com.au) under tech talk > reviews and FAQs > technical and how to guides at the very bottoms. I also recommend reading REX on Rails for more tests.

    Whiteline's "How the ALK Works":
    http://www.whiteline.com.au/articles/Effect of WL ALK_b.pdf

But in short, install it (*begin plug* come to the install day 6/25 *end plug*) and you'll love it!

haha, i know how you feel. Good luck with the install! PM me 48 hrs in advance if you want help. Having two people is really a plus (from personal experience). I tried to isntall it 3 times myself only to find that i needed another person to really get anything done.

    Alex here...

The best part about the ALK is that you are able to gain a decent amount of tread life from your tires. While driving straight you have virtually no camber (ie no wear on the inside), but when you throw it into a turn, it throws back camber just as hard (putting max amt of rubber on the ground, respectively).

You're only concern should be SCCA rules, but if you're not into the whole Auto-X scene, go for it.

I got mine from scoobytuner.com ($169+shipping). Just look around online though, someone is usually running some specials. If you go for a similar product, and I think there's a few out there now besides the PSRS, just make sure it's got poly bushings. I've seen some that are rubber which isn't all that much better than stock mounts.

I have the Perrin and love it. It does cause the aftermarket sway to knock against the control arm, but its not that bad.

See, i told you i couldnt resist putting it on, LOL! I do like it tho, it makes the front springs feel stiffer, i like the turn in under throttle too!!

J/W--did you get yours aligned after installation. i know a caster adjustment wont affect tire wear but i dont want the change in caster to throw the camber or toe outta spec. let me know

i checked my alignment and everything was still within spec. Even the +0.5deg added keeps the castor within subaru's specs.
