its when after a left or right turn, the car still wants to wander to the direction of the last turn. with wrx's the steering rack bushings are soft and to remedy that you need to get firmer bushings. the whiteline ones from what porter told me helps eliminate the memory steer and also helps on center feel

I really need to get around to chucking mine on.

A superb mod for the price however I hear.

huge difference..so much better. steering wheels returns back to center and there's less play in the steering

Do the wagons have the same steering rack bushings as the sedan? I know they softened a lot of stuff up for the wagons and there were some people on NASIOC with sedans who said it didnt do anything. I'm just wondering if these will make a bigger impact on a wagon.

How was the install, yerrow? I have a set of bushings ready to go in... just need to find some time.

i didn't do it since i was outta town, but my friend who does the work for/with me, said it only took about 30 minutes and wasn't too awfully bad. the drivers side was the pain in the ass
