So the map on my 914 w/ 2L type 4 is still rough around the edges, and I'm in need of some finishing tuning work (mostly, I suspect, centered around the ignition map). My eventual plan is an EJ2x swap, but until then I'd like to see to it that this engine lasts a while longer. So does anyone know of a tuner in the ATL area that I can hire to tune my car, that is familiar with the vagaries of 40+-year-old air-cooled VW engines and Megasquirts?
There is a VW shop in Jasper, GA. Not sure if they are familiar with the needs you're looking for, but they are a VW shop.
