Anyone have a borla hush that they would let me borrow for an hour? I just want to bolt it up to my car and take it for a spin and see if it is any quiter than my Perrin.
ball has one, but it has a rotated DP welded to it let me know if you need his number, though he's notorious for never answering his phone
the hush is one of my favorite subaru exhausts out there. the old stromung dual tip was my favorite overall though
The perrin is quite loud compared to the majority of other "quality" brand exhausts out there. I say this because I once had one and have since moved on.
Mike mine is all customified however it is quieter than the Perrin for sure and much deeper. Out of all the super expensive exhaust that I've had it is by far my favorite. Excellent setup for a daily driver.
This. I don't buy many peices for my cars new, especially something like a catback. I decided the borla hush was well worth it's price when they first came out and there were no used ones to be had. I have had 3 subaru's over the past 7 years, and I have kept my same borla hush for each one.
I would say half the sound of a perrin. Danny the mechanic that works at Lexus dealer off peachtree industrial has it. He's got over 400whp though. I had the perrin exhaust and it was quit louder than his. Now I have the stock exhaust, so I can hear my lovely music and myself think for once. LOL!
mine has a 3" flange welded on it to fit the 3" downpipe. If that would work for you...you can come over and try it. Just get my number from Rick.
Cobb Catback is your friend! Buy it, no regrets, no need to ever change down the road. I bought mine used for a great price, had Juston @ Six Star weld a flex joint and a 3" flange on it so that it would mate with my Helix catted dp. This is now my preferred setup.
Has anyone owned/heard a Maddad Whisper exhaust? That seemed the be one of the only "quiet" exhaust set ups I have found that has the option to be a full 3" exhaust. I know the Borla is a 2.5", is the Cobb the same?
