I've read about boost spikes associated with manual boost controllers and I'd like to know your experiences if you have or are currently using a MBC. I'm asking because after I get the WRX transmission in the Legacy, (hopefully by this weekend.) I'm planning on installing the following on my 91 Legacy turbo which came with an Apexi S-AFC and a TurboXS manual boost controller. I'd like to hold-off on some EBC like the Apexi AVC-R, in-favor of upgrading to DOHC heads and standalone EM later.
